The German European School Singapore (GESS) partnered with Chillybin to create a GESS Limitless Learning microsite that would keep their existing parent community informed about the school's future plans and ongoing work across various pillars. The project aimed to showcase the school's strategic focus areas, an interactive timeline of events, news, photos, and videos.
The Problem
GESS needed a platform to effectively communicate its future plans and ongoing work to its parent community. The school had identified eight areas of strategic focus through community feedback involving board members, senior leadership, students, and parents. GESS required a user-friendly and engaging GESS Limitless Learning microsite that would allow them to easily update content and keep their audience informed.

Chillybin collaborated closely with GESS to understand their specific requirements and goals for the GESS Limitless Learning microsite. The project involved several key steps:
Discovery
We conducted a thorough discovery process, reviewing the proposal and gathering information through a detailed discovery questionnaire to gain a deep understanding of GESS's needs and objectives.
Website Design and Development
The GESS Limitless Learning microsite was built using Beaver Builder, a user-friendly page builder that allows the GESS team to easily update their content. Chillybin created additional post types, taxonomies, and custom fields to enable seamless content updates on the backend, which would be dynamically pulled through into beautifully designed front-end templates.
Usability and Engagement
Chillybin placed a strong emphasis on usability and audience engagement. The GESS Limitless Learning microsite incorporates interactive design elements, animations, and effects to encourage exploration and create an immersive user experience.
